Rewiring at Bucks County Library

As part of the Bucks County Library’s renovation, Opt4 Group was contracted to rewire the facility.

In addition to the library’s overall facelift, Opt4 Group is improving the facility’s technology by upgrading the data and voice wiring. The new CAT5 wiring will improve bandwidth in preparation for the new computers, DVDs and CD units. Library patrons will notice more reliable and faster response times when using these devices. “Opt4 Group is thrilled to be a part of the first library renovation since 1988. The Bucks County Free Library is so important to our community and we are able to be a small piece of it,” says Andrew Seabrook, VP at Opt4 Group. Opt4 Group welcomes Edward M. Lopez, a CB West Grad and Gulf War Veteran to their team. Ed makes a great addition to the Opt4 Group sales force, with his diverse industry knowledge and 17 years of practical experience.

In this difficult economic climate, Opt4 Group continues to thrive. “It’s not easy, but we work hard to bring the best products and services to our customers. Ed began his career in telecommunications after returning from his service in the Gulf War-Desert Shield/Desert Storm – where his work ethic and career development formed. Ed, a native of Doylestown moved back to his hometown as a cabling installation manager. His career flourished within the telecommunications industry, excelling in numerous positions from operations to sales.

Going Green and saving money

OPT4 Group, Doylestown was proud to be part of construction of Reading’s first green building, Berks County Community Foundation.

“It feels great to be part of such an amazing project,” said Andrew Seabrook, Vice President of OPT4 Group. “This building is the first of its kind in the area. The foundation has gone to great lengths to ‘go green’ from installing a large cistern reducing their public water usage by 85% to a ban on water bottles at the facility. OPT4 Group was able to provide them with our products and services working within their parameters and save them money.” Upon arrival guests are greeted with informational screens and facility music. A board room and training room complete with state-of-art audio visual equipment is available for community use. In addition to these, OPT4 Group was involved from the earliest construction stage installing the data and voice wiring and a technologically advanced telephone system. Consolidation of phone carriers and their VoIP telephone system will save the foundation approximately $8,000 per year and has a built-in disaster recovery.

Saving BUF Money Helps Others

OPT4 Group was awarded the contract to provide BUF’s new preschool in Plainfield, NJ with an integrated telecommunications plan. As part of the construction phase, OPT4 Group wired the facility for voice and data purposes. We provided them with a VoIP telephone system and fully integrated their two existing NJ preschools into one platform. By using VoIP unified extension dialing among all three locations, we were able to significantly reduce their monthly recurring fees for both internet and voice services. “It is always our goal to provide tangible cost-savings to our customers. But in this case, its rewarding to know those dollars will directly affect people in a positive way,” says Andrew Seabrook, VP of OPT4 Group.

Videoconference Room Rental in Doylestown

OPT4 Group, Doylestown now offers videoconference rooms for public rental. This is the only room of this type available in Doylestown.

Two rooms are available for use; the largest accommodating 10 people on camera. Each room offers state-of-the-art equipment and presentation materials. OPT4Group staffs videoconferencing experts who will be on-site to facilitate each meeting.
